The Adventures of Faith tells the story of a 12-year-old girl named Faith. This is a fun-filled adventure, as Faith and a group of school bus kids water-tube down Spring River. Reminiscent of pre-teen books, the author highlights the antics, fun, and attitudes of tweens. For Faith, she’s nervous because her best friend was not with her; however, Faith perseveres and makes new friends, in particular, a young girl named Suzie. Faith remembers the words of her dad’s advice through some chapters, wise words, some based upon Scripture. The Adventures of Faith is a fantastic book that will capture tweens' imagination and attention. A fantastic adventure!

From bus rides to bubble-blowing Hubba Bubba contests, to a slingshot, and standing up for courage – These are just a few of the first chapters. That’s just the beginning. Faith learns lessons along the way, recalling the words of wisdom from her father, meanwhile, treasuring her Christian faith. Meeting new friends and having fun, this book sheds light on the “fun” of being a kid, living in the present, and capitalizes on special moments and memories, as Faith shares salvation and Jesus with others.

This book comes highly recommended for young tweens ages 8-14. Good clean fun and living in the present is what the author brings to life in this book, alongside faith in Jesus. Developed from stories from the author’s own daughter, this is a delightful book. A truly fun and endearing read!

A fresh, funny, and descriptive faith-filled book! (Oh, the joy of being a kid!) ~ From a parent who remembers what it was like just being a kid and all the fun adventures (friends, bullies, homework, etc.)  Look for more books from this author! This is a series I hope, as the author continues Faith and her story as she grows older.
